So this season we are back to inspire you with some easy, yet nonetheless awesome DIY projects for you and your home. Heidelberg-based DIY-aficionado Vera Wohlleben came up with a great idea, that will give your bathroom some glitz with the help of some Montana METALLIC spray paint. We will be creating the most amazing soap dispenser.
Materials Used
- Your favorite color from the Montana METALLIC series
- Universal Primer
- MontanaCans Varnish
- A mason jar
- A soap dispenser pump lid that fits the size of your jar
- Gloves
- Mask
- Drop sheet
How it was done
Starting out, make sure your work surface is fully covered in a plastic sheet or newspaper. Also, don’t miss out the opportunity to use the UNIVERSAL PRIMER before to start adding some color on your Mason Jar to have better results. Before you start, make sure to shake the cans well for 1-2 minutes.
Put on your plastic gloves and lie your Mason jar on one of its sides, start spraying it with the Montana METALLIC paint. Something special about MontanaCans spray paint is that it adheres to just about anything. It’s perfect for use on everyday objects such as this soap dispenser.
Plus, there’s the fact that the colors all have incredible quality and depth. Find different ways to create texture, or put some glitter effect on your dispenser and make it look more fun.
Next step is to cover your jar in color and make sure to rotate the jar as to get a better look on all the sides. If you want to, don’t hesitate to add a second hand of color for a complete and shiny look.
Be sure to wait for the paint to be dry before your seal the surface, by putting a layer of VARNISH spray from the Montana TECH line. Once the VARNISH has dried, all you need to do is fill it with soap and dishes are done!
