With a breath of fresh air as part of the new Allspraypainted Meets series, we focus on professional creators who use spray paint for their daily work. Whether it be a designer, fine artist, commercial artist, or anything in between. In this series we hope to find out what goes on in the minds of some of the world’s most innovative creators.
For our first featured creator, we welcome the German artist CAROLIN KAISER. A self-professed 80’s kid, her personal creative work is heavily influenced by all things good from that period. In particular, the music, which plays a huge role in motivating her in the studio. Creating the right mood is required whenever she gets to work. But it is not all bright colors and Sade albums playing in the background. Minimal architecture and art deco also play heavily on Carolin’s vision of the world.
A world where organic forms dance with rigid compositions to achieve just the right balance in her art. Her approach is free and not restricted. The need for complicated concepts that are overly thought out is not her thing. For Carolin, it starts with a scribble and progresses intuitively from there.

For the last 11 years, Carolin (or Caro as she calls herself), has been living in the German city of Mannheim. Which happens to be the neighboring city to Heidelberg, the home of Allspraypainted. Born into a hand worker family, she trained as a painter and finisher with a focus on design. Watch the video here:
Although digitally trained and apt, she prefers working hands-on and being able to say, “I did this with my own two hands”. It is easy to see when you pay attention to the beautiful craftsmanship, and attention to detail in her paintings, wooden assemblages, prints, and drawings that she is renowned for.
Apart from her personal pursuits as a fine artist, Caro’s profession as a communication designer and illustrator make her the perfect candidate for the Allspraypainted Meets series.

As a heavy aerosol can user, Caro knows exactly when to use which can and how. Whether it be her favorite Montana GOLD line colors, a specific Montana VARNISH to finish a project, or the array of Montana TECH and EFFECT cans that bring her projects up to the level she has achieved.
